How do they do this? - 11/26/2001 23:53:00
Go here: http://www.kemford.com/index.go?partner_program and notice the nice clean look to the site. I know this is a question that I should know the answer to, and it's probably something pretty simple, but how do they get those very fine borders around so much of the content? I have looked at the code and see borders set at 0, and don't see any CSS styles defined anywhere, so how is it accomplished? Is this done in the graphics stage? or is there some coding I'm not seeing. It looks like some of this was done in either Flash or Illustrator... Thanks Phl

Those nice clean fine-line borders are achieved by creating single cell table, set cell padding to 1 and add a background color of your choice. Now, place another single cell table within that first one and put your content there. That method was used for part of the page you reference, other parts acually used a .gif image that matches the background color of the tables used in the manner I mentioned above. ------------------ <--Your information went data way -->
