Is this okay or Amateurish? - 6/5/2007 5:58:54
Just wondering whether this banner looks okay or not?

Link

I did it rather quickly, it's not optimized or anything. It's just a city skyline, and I stuck Centrepoint Tower in there to make it look like Sydney. This client has no images, no imagination, no idea of colour schemes, when I met with him a month or two ago all he could come up with was his football team logo!

It's a site for a Bankruptcy Trustee - not the easiest site to think of graphics for.

I think it's quite smart looking.

Only thing I'd say is that it sort of reminds me of the Frasier logo (tower and all) But I still think it's nice.

I see an opportunity to derail this thread. So is the maid really from Manchester on that show or just playing the role?

Thanks everyone for the comments.

I still think it looks a bit plain, I'll try and add some shadows or something and see how li looks.

Tail - you're right! Totally unintentional, I hardly watched that show but I can see exactly what you mean.

Well she's English but not from up North - she's an Essex girl.
