Quick asp insert question - 6/6/2007 17:35:25
fp_sQry="SELECT distinct [nameinput] as user_name ,right([nameinput],5) as email,sport FROM student order by sport asc"
user_name uses the last 5 characters of the nameinput field. Is there a way that it uses five characters from the the fourth or fifth character over from the left or right.

Look into the Mid function instead of Right.
