Using the tools > security menu - 11/1/2001 14:43:00
HHEELPPP! I want to be able to use the tools>security feature in frontpage to password protect a subweb. Yes, I am opening the site live off of the server. Yes, I have the user name/ password. Yes, I have 'administrative rights' to the server...but the security choice is STILL grayed out. We host the site on our own server(DELL) here at school, but noone (including our contracted tech service person) knows how to set the server to enable this feature. Can anyone help me!?!?!?!?!?!! Typically, NT hosts will not let you set your own permissions. They usually require you to request that, and they do it.That's sometimes the case with Unix hosts, but less often so.
