windows 2000 vs windows98 - 11/2/2001 20:50:00
I've developed an intranet site which consists of a number of ASP pages (login page takes you to the main page then there are a number of detail pages off the main page)Published to a Windows98 PC the site works perfectly. Published to a Windows2000 PC the login page and main page work fine but when I try to load a detail page the new window opens but the page does not load - the progress bar takes ages to move even slightly. All the pages are in the same directory so it's not a directory permissions thing - does anyone have any ideas???? Cheers, Reesy

When that's happened to me, my host has let me know that the asp server was down. I'm guessing that restarting webservice will fix that, but I don't know how to do that.t
