Recommend Shopping Cart - 6/12/2007 13:44:38
Have a new client that has a static website that lists items for sale. When they had the site created (not by me) they thought they were getting an ecommerce site. They have asked me to fix the site. I have used ecommerce templates to create sites before, but I have never converted an existing site. Need some recommendations of shopping cart packages that I can add to this site. Will probably use paypal for credit card transactions. Site will have 100-150 items for sale.

That's not a bad package at all for Win-hosted sites. However, with the "cart" being static, I think with whichever cart you go with, you'll need to do a lot of copy and paste.

No cart will convert what you have into a DB, there is going to be data entry involved. If you are asking for a cart with static output, well you have already answered with ECT. ECT has the ability to have static pages. I am doing this on my site in my signature.
