Server hangup Error - 11/11/2001 22:44:00
I was doing some updates today when I received an error message that said "server hangup".

This occurred at the end of the update in the middle of the Processing web Updates phase.

It has loaded the pages OK and the navigation structure is working, but the images for the buttons went awol. I've had to make them text and reload. Same error but at least the nav is there

Its an Apache server with FP2000 extensions.

Any ideas?

I've seen that with very large (300+ pages) webs, the solution is to open the live site in one window and the local site in another and drag drop folders from one to the other.

If your site isn't huge then you need to contact your host or server admin about this.

Is it some form of timeout? My Server owner hasn't struck it before. Can the time be reset?

The site is just over the 300 files size so I'll give it a try. I don't understand why it should be a problem when I am just updating changed files.

Cheers and thanks
