Error Msg after Publish - 11/12/2001 15:44:00
I just registered and purchased my domain name this weekend. This morning I published my website using Frontpage 2000. However, when I go to my web address, I get the following error:
FILE NOT FOUND: THE REQUESTED URL WAS NOT FOUND ON THIS SERVER.Does anyone know what this mean? Is there anythign I can do that does not involve contacting the host provider?

First: Has the domain propagated yet? You say you bought the domain over the weekend - it usually takes 24 - 72 hours for a domain to propagate (unless it's Network Solutions, then make that a week or more ![]("http://www.frontpagewebmaster.com/ubb/smile.gif") )------------------

I received a response from my host provider. It said:Make sure everything is linking up correctly. Seems that your pages
are not going to where you want them to go. I have no idea what they are telling me!
