hover buttons not working - 6/22/2007 22:52:20
Hi. I made some basic hover buttons in adobe and used frontpage 'component' to make them work. Thought they were working fine as i use firefox browser and had no problems. Was at a relatives home today and looked at my site there and the buttons were'nt working as hoped. He uses I.E. and when hovering the mouse there is no effect but some message about click to activate appears instead. However they still click to the link when pressed so it's half working.
As i'm using frontpage i expected there to be no problem with I.E. so that was a surprise. Any ideas as to rectifying this? Thanks - mike c

Get rid of them. Those hover buttons require Java which IE 7 will just cause even more problems.
Check out some examples at listamatic on some much better ways to use

The listamatic has about 50 examples. Look at a few and then just start slow with one that you like, changing the colors slowly. That way, you will learn some as well
