DWT Renames a Form Field - 6/23/2007 11:57:40
In all my years working with Front Page I've never seen anything as odd as this.
Using FP 2003-
I have a Dynamic Web Template that I use to update pages in mass, but for some reason for any page that contains a form which contains a form field called 'description' it will change the form field name to description0. For any of these forms I've double checked and there is only one field with a name of description. Any hints, tips or insights would be appreciated.

Of course one shoule look at the code.
Here is the answer. The Dynamic Web Template has a search box (in an uneditable region - if that matters) called description. So, I guess the solution is to search on another field, or remove the search boxes, or update the form field to correct the problem after updating from the DWT.
