I am not sure that I understand your question. Does your EW say that it requires activation? If so, click Help and activate. About how many installations on PCs with one legal copy, ask MS. What is the question about "how many MB?" What is MB? Megabyte?

Assuming that you're asking how to activate Expression Web (for which with such queries I often find that either searching for an answer using a proprietary search engine or a visit to Microsoft's knowledge base often does wonders), that phrase suggests that you need to activate the software online, not that you need to download anything, and therefore neither downloads nor speed come into the equation.

If you're wishing to activate the free trial, that simply requires that you enter a a CAPTCHA type string of letters to activate it.

If you actually have a full version of the software, it normally comes with something handy called instructions and documentation, which it's suggested that you read.

If you wish to download a free trial you can do so here, which also rather handily tells you that the download size for the Expression Web is 200MB. That, incidentally took me around two minutes to find with a simple google search.

Well helpless (or is that help please :)?), not knowing whether you're talking the beta or the full version it's difficult to say how many MB BUT, I do not remember having to "activate" my upgrade version AND the EW EULA indicates that more than one copy is permissable for 1 / one licensed user...

quote:

3. INSTALLATION AND USE RIGHTS
a. General. One user may install and use copies of the software to design, develop, test and demonstrate web sites you develop.

I have a full version and never had to activate that either.

There is a very similar question here and answers to go with it.

To be honest I'd stick with DW if I were you - it's more versatile than EW.
