Nicole -> Passing Traffic . . . (6/27/2007 3:14:55)

Since moving to my new house I've spent some time counting the cars that drive on the road outside my house. I'm not going mad. My new house is on a road that in one direction leads to a coastal holiday town about 20km away, and in the other direction to a very "country" town with a population of about 7000. That town is again about 20km away. Taking an average of different times of day, about 180 vehicles (including buses) pass my house, as we're in winter that's about 1800 per day in daylight hours and in summer that will increase a lot because of the daylight hours and also tourists. So what you ask? Well next time I go into town I'm thinking of buying some pieces of timber, some posts and some paint and painting two signs and sticking them in my front yard saying "Website Designer, phone number and URL". With over 50,000 passers-by per month in Winter, surely I'd have to get some enquiries from it? Has anyone else tried anything similar?
