Can't view full webpage in IE6.0 or less - 7/27/2007 8:49:07
I am a new webpage developer and used Expression web, asp files. The page (domain: angusfuneralhome.com) is displayed fine in all browsers except IE 6.0 or less. In IE 6.0 only the header of the page is appearing, no error message. Any suggestions of what to do, so the entire page can be viewed.

Couldn't tell you off the top of my head but the whole page seems to be within a form... which obviously since it isn't a form is a mistake. Remove the form tags and see if that helps at all. Edit: just tested this locally and if you remove the form tag (both start and closing tag, which you'll find nearly at the end of the page AND all the form stuff within it) then it seems to work in IE. BTW - you've got a load of styles in the head of each document which will make the pages heavier and defeats one of the main reasons to use CSS (making it very easy to change presentational stuff in one edit across the whole site). I'd seriously consider removing all those styles into an external stylesheet. edit again: I understand that you're new to web design so if you don't mind I'll suggest a couple of things? Firstly, always resize images in an image/photo editor, never in the HTML as it will slow the page down and make the images jaggy. Secondly - you're currently using some fairly heavyweight, ugly rollovers for the navigation. I know that you're using EW but you should always try to ensure that it's doing the "right thing" as far as the code goes (usually these type of editors don't). I'd seriously recommend that you get very familiar with HTML and CSS so that you can ensure that your sites are really well built. Here's an excellent tutorial site: http://www.htmldog.com
