Tripod and Angelfire problem with FP 2003 - 7/27/2007 13:35:43
I am having a new problem editing my Angelfire and Tripod sites with MS FrontPage 2003. For some unknown reason neither of the free sites will even load in my FrontPage.

Also, I have noticed that when I'm looking at my IE Browser, I can go to file, scroll down and see the option, Edit with FrontPage. If I load one of my Angelfire or Tripod sites, that option is no longer there!

I have disabled all my popup blockers, firewalls, and everything I know to do. Still not working.

Any help is greatly appreciated as I would like to edit by sites using FP.
Thanking you in advance,
Marie

I found the fix! It is in Internet Explorer 7.0, but I don't know where the problem lies that makes Angelfire and Tripod sites unable to edit using FP2003. I deleted IE 7.0 and reinstalled an earlier version IE 6.0 and now I can edit my sites again.

I do not know what part of IE 7.0 was the problem. Unfortunately I liked IE 7.0 but if IE 6.0 works I will use it.

It took me all day to figure it out though.

Marie
