I started to read Jim Cheshire'e excellent book "Using Microsoft Expression Web". I am suprised that a number of things are not available in my version of expression web. F.i. Draw table (under select table form main menu) is not available. Also the table toolbar is different from mine, wich has less options. Is there already a new version of expression web (I purchased the upgrade for Frontpage 2003 users, as soon as it became available)?

I also have Jim Chesshire's "Using Ms Expression Web." I also upgraded to EW from Frontpage 2003. I suspect that your EW is more current than what you see on Jim's book. There is no upgrade to EW since the January 2007 launch date.
