Outlook 2003 - 7/30/2007 20:44:00
Hello. I was hoping you could help me with creating an email address, and using Microsoft Outlook 2003 work with it. I do not want a web site, just the email address. I will use NameCheap to create my domain name. For example, lets say its JasonVickers.com, and the email will be me@JasonVickers.com Can you tell me how, once the domain name is created, I can use Microsoft Outlook to send and receive emails to/from that name. Also, am I able to have multiple email address at Jason.Vickers.com, like me@jason.vickers.com, or billing@Jason.vickers.com, using the same domain, or do I have to pay for each email address? Thank you for your help.

If I understand your question, you have registered a domain name with 'NameCheap' then you want to create email addresses using your domain name right? Do you have a web host? If so that host should have info on how to use outlook with a web mail address. If they don't then do a Google search on 'web mail with outlook'. I found lots of examples on how to do it. Your web host should also tell you how many email accounts you are entitled to. If they do not, then ask them.

you are correct. when I do a search on google for a webmail service, i come up with existing domain names, such as yahoo or msn. Am I able to just configure microsoft office to work with my domain name? Thank you.

Larry, he still needs a web host in order to get his web email. Just registering a domain name doesn't give you a web mail account. My ISP allows me to get web mail but that is not the same as mail from my registered domain name.

Just registering a domain name doesn't give you a web mail account Don, yep, you are right. Once the host arrangement is in place, Control Panel Squirrel EMail should be available as an independent feature. Because I get so much SPAM, I always check my email on the host server first, delete the garbage, then fire-up Outlook to manage the rest.
