Font Identification - 8/4/2007 5:11:04
Can anyone identify the attached font please?

(It doesn't appear to be a standard Windows or Office font so far as I can see)

Amazone BT it is! - Thanks Kitka :)

BTW - have you downloaded the font pack on offer on the site that you have linked to?

I'm never too sure about copyright/license issues with fonts - are these safe to use?

Does anyone else have a recommendation for a good font variety pack?

No, I have had Amazone for many years, and wouldn't have the foggiest idea how/where I originally got it.

It is fairly widely available on free font sites, but try finding any of the Frutiger family, or ITC Newtext, or TF Grange for free download anywhere. That seems to suggest that the foundry (Bitstream) doesn't actively police its distribution. But, as always, its your call to do what you are most comfortable doing.

I wonder if it's a Publisher font? Anyhow, thanks for all your help:)
