I need help with Dynamic Web Template - 8/9/2007 18:31:44
Ok, I am really new to all of this so all help would be greatly appreciated I began building a site using Expression Web, and I started out by creating a Dynamic Web Template (basically copying a template from Publisher and changing basic stuff). I made about 8 pages using that template, but now I want to add link to it; however, when I add link to the template, they only seem to appear on new pages I make, but will not affect the old pages. Is there any possible way for me to change the template and makes these changes appear on the web pages I have previously created with that template too?

Did you ask it to update all the other pages the DWT was attached to?

I found my main error. I had 2 different sections of editable area labeled with the same title which was confusing expression when I updated the template. However, I have another minor problem...It says it will only update pages that are open for editing (which is fine now that I only have like 12 pages), but once I get into the hundreds with pages, I will not want to open each one f them to update them with any template changes...Is there any option to update all pages connected to the template, and if so, how do I do it Thanks ;)
