Form Issues - 8/11/2007 17:43:44
Ok, I've searched and searched and cannot find the answer. I have a web page I update for a non-profit animal rescue group. They have updates they do monthly on the dogs in their prison program. It's a pain in the butt. I want to make it easier to update. I have maybe 30 to do a month and the "form" I currently use, is so user un-friendly. Is there something similar to word that you can create a "protected" form, where you just click and type in boxes? I did upload my word form, but it opened in word from the web site and people are able to update it and save as a word file. I don't want them to be able to do that. I just want them to be able to click the link and see the info, in a nice layout. Does any of this make sense?

You could maybe use a database and create a user interface for them to update the database. Or would a CMS been better for you? You might check out Content Seed as an option
