Shared borders not appearing - 8/15/2007 3:58:39
I have a fairly large website (about 500 pages) and I want to create a navigation bar using text links, or the Frontpage Link Bar, rather than the Xara navbar that I have been using.
To so this I need to create a shared border on the left hand side of the page. I created the shared border on the index page, checked the box for it to apply to all pages, but it still only comes up on the index page.
I already have shared borders at the top and bottom of each page which work fine on all pages.
Does anyone have any ideas what may be causing this problem? Thanks.

Unless you have the other pages check marked as "current page", I don't see why it wouldn't apply to all pages.

look at some of the other pages - do borders appear in the <header>? Also did you do a Tools - Recalculate Hyperlinks and publish on Frontpage?

Does your webhosting company have a control panel? If so, does the control panel have a FP icon on it so you can check Frontpage Server Extensions? If so, check FPSE.

You might really consider Included Content instead of shared borders
