A set of VB macros that ran in FP2003 refused to compile or run in EW. The compiler choked on a Dim statement pointing to an object, FPHTMLDocument, that didn't exist in EW. I downloaded the new help file and it's pretty useless. No translation table to convert from the old objects to the new. The EW compiler didn't even recognize the objects that the new EW Help file listed. I checked the References and everything that seemed even remotely relevant was there. Finally in despair I commented out all the Dim statements that referenced objects, old or new ... and miracle, it ran. It shouldn't have, but it did.
Is there a White Paper or a help file somewhere that flags all the changes in VB code required to make the transition to EW?
