I made a website.
I went to FILE-PUBLISH WEB.
An error message comes back saying the extentions aren't enabled.
The directions from catalog.com said I had to go to Web Folders.
They said it would be there, and there would be a 'globe icon'
next to my web...it's not.
Any advice?
I posted this message yesterdy, but I don't see it anymore.

This website is unreal. I've been here about 20 times, and I
would be screwed without this site.

Double check with your host to see if the enabled/installed the FP extensions for your site..... Sounds like "Not!"

Sometimes you have to install the extensions yourself, via a control panel at your server, looks like theres one over on the right side of the navbar. Look in there, I bet there's an option "Install FrontPage extensions". Only takes a minute.

Ditto on both the above. It does sound like FP extensions have not been installed, and many hosts have a way for you to automatically install the extensions. If they still are not working, you can have your host manually install them -- this will sometimes fix problems the automated install doesn't catch.


Note: be aware that catalog.com does not allow you to use both ftp and FP extensions on the same site. If you are using FP extensions, catalog.com does not allow you to use subwebs (unless things have changed in recent months).
