gau_choy -> Frames in firefox show up in code (10/3/2007 0:38:08)

I have recently contsructed a website using frames (yes i know how much ppl hate them..lol) and although the site displays fine in almost every browser i have tested, the page will only display code when viewed with firefox. I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction to fix this issue. If it helps here is the site

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Remove these from your source and it will work in FireFox

"http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">

Editing..

Eh... put back in the <HTML> tag

replace the xhtml doctype with this

<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Frameset//EN"
"http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/frameset.dtd">

better still just don't use frames

Thank you everyone for your super quick response..I will try these methods for the meantime but will also take the good advice of not using frames in the future...again thank you very much.

i've got kind of the reverse... i know, we all hate frames but i was asked to use them by the people i run the site for. the link in question is http://thehauntedcave.net/site2008/mainframe.html the frame to the left won't load in firefox, works in ie though, any suggestions?

You've got a slash the wrong way round in the URL for the side frame.
