Does anyone have experience with quickbooks merchant service? Do you use one of quickbooks recommended web store providers?

I've used QB's tech support before, they are HORRIBLE. We were paying a monthly fee for unlimited tech support to speak to someone that couldn't clearly speak English. I don't know how the QB Merchant Services stuff works, but if they are anything like the standard QB support, RUN AWAY. With merchant accounts, you need a company that you can count on when you have an issue. I wouldn't trust QB with my merchant account.

Are you looking for a merchant account for your business?

Authorize.Net has QB integration and CoreyBryant offers merchant accounts.

You convinced me to RUN AWAY.

A client wants customers to be able to pay their bill online. Some invoices will be sent via mail because of incorrect e-mail addresses. He already uses quickbooks and some software that was created specifically for his industry. Therefore, I was hoping to find something that works with the software he already uses.

He has a merchant account.

I've been looking into paypal for him. My one question regarding paypal that I can't find an answer too is, can customers pay their bill online if they received the bill in the mail. I posted my question in paypals developer question. No answer so far. I guess I will have to call paypal.

Thank you for your help.

If he has Paypal, use Paypal to send the invoices. Or create a simple program to use another electronic payment gateway / merchant account. LinkPoint though they were loosing because of the Quickbook program and partnered up with another business software to offer in its place, called Bookkeeper™ 2007

I found a way to make it all work, thanks to Tom. We are going to use paypal. Invoices that are mailed will have a url to let people know they can pay online. We will use a buy button.
