I'm fairly new to expression web.

I was thinking of doing form to create a box for people to enter their email address to receive monthly specials or newsletter? I want one box and next to it I would have "sign up to receive our specials."

What are the pros and cons of doing it this way?

What other ways did you want to do it?

ok. I didn't word that right at all. Forgive me.

If I use form with expression web, I'm assuming I will receive spam. How can I stop that from happening?

Can you use JMail on the server? If so Processing the Form with the JMail EMail Component might help

You could add a validation routine so that the form return isn't processed unless there's a single valid email address in it.
