Beautiful site. Nice graphics. Good layout. Clean.

I see you used .jpg for your shadow effect. This format doesn't support transparency. I would have used .gif format.

Very pretty - (shame it's a table layout and there's a fair bit of extra unnecessary markup especially with the navigation - but then I'm fussy!)

I'd add a couple of extra rules into your hover rule for your buttons and for your bottom nav like this (for the buttons):

.button:focus, .button:hover, .button:active {
background-position: bottom left;
}

That way people using the keyboard rather than the mouse to navigate will know where they are. I'd advise adding the focus and active (which is focus for stupid IE) to all link rules.

You don't seem to have bothered with alt attributes which is a shame. You need to add them to all images. Informational images should get a useful alternative in case the image isn't available and non-informational images should get alt="" so that screenreaders will ignore them completely.

I'd remove the optimised for IE thing - why have that there? It will annoy non-IE users and implies that you don't know how to optimise for ALL browsers!! I'd also remove the ideal resolution thing too - for the same reason. It's a shame that you get scrollbars at 800px when you just needed to make it a teeny bit narrower to get around that (760px).

Just a little perplexed about the .gov in your URL. That .gov may lead uninformed people to believe that your site may be sanctioned by some government. Is your web site a government web site?

Hi,

Really nice professional website.:)

The layout of the website is done really well, giving space for each of the individual sections on each webpage (ie. national handicraft centre, authentic maldivian product, etc).

The blend of dark and light brown colours for the background, main navigation, and font really work well together. The brown and grey font also match with the white background and make the words easy to see and read.

I really like the rounded edges and reflection on all of the images as it makes them stand out. The detail of the photos help to describe each product on the product page.

Navgation bar on top makes it eay to navigate the website and indicate which page you are viewing.

I guess the only issues I have and they are really minor ones include the little symbols on the top-right hand corner of the website. I did not know what they were until I hovered over them. You might want to place words underneath each symbol saying what they are or just use word links instead. The text used for the footer could be a little bit bigger.

Overall, I really like this site. It is aesthetically pleasing to the eye.:)

Very nice site. The colours are lovely and well suited to the poduct being sold. Some of the font is a bit difficult to read on the dark background though...maybe it should be a bit larger. The same for some of the font on the logo. Overall, the design is very nice with good clean alignment and lovely pictures of the products. You're missing an * on the aboutus page in the 'potenial' list.

From an e-commerce perspective (I'm using criteria from a course I'm taking for Internet Application Programming to critique the site):
- Although I know that you are selling Maldivian Handicraft products, the specific individaul products being sold was not clear. The product description are of general categories and I couldn't find information on pricing or how to buy a product. Can you order online?....how do you pay?

With a bit more information, this will be a really good site.

hey.

things i like...
-i really enjoy the colors used
-i like the images used/how they change from page to page
-the navigation in the footer is useful
-easy to navigate
-loads quickly, links work
-pages do not contain too much text

things i dislike...
-banner could use a link to home..if user clicks title/logo
-the links in the banner on the right are small
-the content could perhaps use some more contrast. the font is nice but could stand out some more. it could also perhaps be larger to increase readability.

overall it all looks good. clean. fresh, professional. good work

geoff

Hi...

I like your website in term of the colors, text, and images. The only issues:

- Do you sell products? I mean you have a page for products but I don't see the prices or payment methods.

- If you have payment methods, you should displayed in clear place to attract other users to buy.

- It will be a good idea if you use flash to display the products or the center.

Thanks...
