Dreamweaver FTP Upload ? (Full Version)

When using the dreamweaver FTP upload, I am publishing to a FTProot folder on my server instead of the folder where my actual website is. The actual directory is C:/Websites/myfolderIwanttopublishto (via remote desktop connection)

I downloaded Cute FTP and it too went to the FTProot folder instead of C:/Websites/myfolderIwanttopublishto

What do I need to do to get to the right folder. I've tried numerous combinations adding the folder name as the host on dreamweaver and Cute FTP.

In dreamweaver look in tools and manage sites

here is where you need to tell the location on the remote site:

You have to first Define your site in dreamweaver and then login to the Ftp by going into the file>New>Ftp Site>login by using your Id and password and activate your ftp account in this way. Here is the proper guidelines file for you.
