Making an online store - 10/15/2007 8:07:41
I just started using expression web and I'm having a lot of fun with it, but I'm not sure how to do more complex tasks with it.

The site I'm working on (just for fun, not actually making a store) sell posters of varying sizes. On the first page the user can choose a poster using checkboxes and the size/price with a dropdown menu. The next page is customer information such as address, name, etc.

The last page is the main issue since I would like to have a receipt of the customer's order. This would require printing out storing the values of posters ordered and the customer information. I know I can do this using javascript, but I'm using Expression Web so I don't have to deal with code.

Is there any way I can do this using the tools EW offers, and if so is there a tutorial or description somewhere?

Look at:

Mal's Shopping Cart

There is free version that should meet your needs. You get an email of the customers order.

Just paste the code into a page. I used it on a non-profit site for donations, payment of event fees, etc. and they loved it. Also used it on for profit sites.

If you don't mind spending some money, take a look at SalesCart
