cbarton -> Going to try EW (10/16/2007 11:23:45)

I checked out a tutorial at http://www.microsoft.com/expression/kc/resources.aspx?product=web&type=quickstart
and it somewhat allayed my fear about using EW for future sites.

However, before I even try, I have a question about Excel and EW. Is it a problem to create a box (is that called a div?) and then copy/paste a spreadsheet into it? Many of my sites include results of competitions that are in excel format.

It is called a div (divide), but the WYSIWYG editors will call it a layer usually.

You could possibly copy the Excel into the editor. I have not done that yet myself actually but you are displaying tabular data (so everything would be in tables).

You might also consider using a .NET control to read the Excel spreadsheet and then just update the spreadsheet as needed
