What Microsoft Office System do you have installed in your computer? 2003 or 2007? Or the two? The problem may be indicative of a conflict of software. I remember I had that too in my early days with EW. I cannot remember for sure how I resolved the problem. Try googling it. You might receive a good response.

I have Office 2007. I have tried several searches and cannot find a similar problem.

I remember I found a solution in Ms Knowledge base. At the time, I made a print out and followed the complex instruction one step at a time. I thought I saved the instruction. I have searched for it in my computer but in vain. From what I can remember, if you have beta version of Ms Office 2007, you need to remove everything about it from your system. I think the same applies to Office 2003 and Expression Web beta. Some of the instructions involve editing the register. If you search Ms Knowledge base, you may be lucky to find it. If you have a legal copy of Expression Web, you are entitled to a number of free supports from Microsoft. You may decide to use of the support for this. You have also unlimited Email support but the quality is poor. Same with Chat Support. I am sorry I could not do more than this.
