FP 2003 will not accept my password - 10/24/2007 15:10:04

I was publishing to my site without problem, but now FP will not accept my password that allows me to access my remote server. I stopped a publish session and I think this was the cause.

I know my user name and password are valid.

I've refreshed my FP extensions.

What can I do to fix it? Any ideas?

"refresh"? Try uninstall/reinstall. If that doesn't work contact your host tech support.

I contacted my server host and the told me to drop the site name our our my user name and this solved the problem.

For example webmaster@mysite.com is how I had always done it before.

Now just use [webmaster] as my user name.

Why the chage all of a sudden I do not know but it did solve the problem.
