mnewsome -> IIS to launch local web (10/29/2007 13:02:14)

I have IIS 5.1 installed to an XP machine and a newly created FrontPage 2002 access database template site. I know IIS is necessary to launch the site locally and I have used it to find the webfolder of interest but I do not know how to proceed. Guidance and/or documentation sought

What happens when you open your browser and type the web address "http://127.0.0.1/" ?

Much thanks for the timely reply. Got the standard:
"Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" Hoping for a reply to this as well

Thank you

Have you followed the steps such as in this tutorial?

mnewsome -> IIS works, next is... (11/8/2007 15:48:04)

I have been able to connect to the FP 2002 database template site. This is essentially one page that has three options... a submission link, results link, and the database editor. I would like to work on the following for this project.

-Create/add a logon page that would enable four users to logon and add records independently of eachother.

- Append a master database so that each of the four users records would appear in a single source. Each user should not see the entries of another.

Much thanks for the assistance as I await a reply
