points on what? - 11/1/2007 11:17:55
I heard that we should design a website that is compatible with older versions of web browsers. Site designed for the newest browser may not even be visible when viewed by older versions. What are points to be kept before designing in this reagard? Will the Site, designed using Microsoft FrontPage2003, be viewed by all versions of all Web browsers? Your detailed comments?

Hi and Welcome to OutFront There is *absolutely no* WYSIWYG editors that will code for every browser in every situation. There is no substitute for hands-on testing and fixing using hand coding techniques. Having said that, I generally try to support the latest 2 versions of IE, FF, and Safari. After that, I am of the opinion that you encounter the 'law of diminishing returns'. </$.02>
