Google Analytics Question - 11/5/2007 10:26:28
This is a mouth full.

I've been using this product for a while. I've noticed that if I have a folder/directory in my root named "dogboy". In my statistics drill-down section it may appears twice once as "DogboY" and as it actually is "dogboy". Now if I want the unique visits and page-views for the "dogboy" folder do I need to add the stats for both of these folder together? When I add them both it does correspond better with the overall site stats.

Thanks!
Rich

I'm pretty sure Analytics treats them as separate URLs like it'll treat www.mydomain.com as a different domain than mydomain.com. So I'm pretty sure you would add them to get the accurate stats.

You got a link somewhere that uses the different capitalization? Are those hits coming from inside? You can't control how outside links are written but you can control how inside links are.
