Cannot find FTP server - 11/5/2007 10:32:13
I'm having a problem connecting Expression web to the ftp server to transfer files. I have FP 2003 sp3 setup with the same remote website properties and it transfers files fine. I also transferred files just fine using Filezilla. Is there a setting I need to set in Expression so it will not tell me the web site is down?

Hi and Welcome to OutFront.
Are you sure the issue is with Expression? FrontPage doesn't use FTP to connect by default.
Have you tried connecting with another FTP product like CuteFTP or FIlezilla?

Yes, I could connect with Filezilla. It seems to be an issue with ftp in IE. Yo have to uncheck an FTP option in IE to get it to work.
