lots of spelling and grammatical mistakes - check those ;) there's no colour scheme: sure there's some colours knoxking around on the page but they don't seem to have anything to do with each other. the blue and the yellow look particularly dated. if you can't pick some colours that work together then try for a more monotone scheme with one contrasting colour for links. mix of fonts and font sizes looks messy er. there's not much else there in the way of content ... so it's not a resource i would use a few graphics wouldn't go amiss either! :)

Thx for the comments, I removed blue, I changed font sizes to fit together better, and will find someone to help me with English mistakes (It's not my first language). Any other suggestions - anyone?

I have a hard time reading the heavier black font-style as well. It's difficult to read and appears too condensed. Try Arial or something....

Point taken I changed it to Arial - and it's much more readable in this way. Anything else...

Much Much better with the blockquoted Arial font. Now, add a 10px left margin or padding into the blockquoted content, try a border around all 4 sides (make it a softer color - like light grey), put in a 10px bottom margin too and make the heading (H2?) of the blockquote stand out more in terms of color.... Weak Gold never works for me - Try Dk. Blue or Red in a slightly bigger font or bolded... Try pulling in the margins of the whole block quote itself too - try 20px or something... see how it looks.

Great suggestion michaelea it really looks much better after I closed that conteiners and put grey background, I just don't get what heading in blockquote do you mean ? Did you mean the one when you open specific Main categorie aka. Learning and then see CROATIAN... I left that color because those are links to subcategories same like in menu on the left....I will play a little with links color to see if something looks better. If you have any other ideas please give them, your input is really constructive.

The Contact, Donation and News Headers - Make those jump out more.... Try pulling the Blockquote Box in from both margins, make it less wide - also, a cute .css graphic would sharpen it up and draw readers attention to it... Check out the block quote here - http://www.northcoastcomputers.net/

I think that you should try to get better resolution on the graphics used. If you look at the edges they are all jagged. Also in just reading the first blurb there were a couple of spacing issues. Just check them out.

Tailslide. That's good info to know... Opera isn't a Browser I come into contact with on my travels and so, alas, I don't check or get to see sites using Opera. (i.e. I'm "un-thorough" and only check on FF, IE and Safari!) Anyways I just thought that maybe that site might have some useful info. in for our "creative" friend here :) Thanks.

Yep I agree - didn't read the lot but it looked like it made sense. You could also have a look at some of the many galleries that exist for pretty websites such as http://www.cssbeauty.com/gallery/ which I often find inspiring when I'm staring down a really boring website design (how the hell do you make steam boilers interesting?).

Yes as "creative" people do come to dead end sometimes, but it is fun to do something completely by yourself without a template There are some good advices on that site michaelea, thx for the link.

I wish I got phone calls all the time asking where to find product info. on my site! I'd have that US distributor butoon front and center (probably even *shudder* an animated .gif) - so the phone calls don't disturb Chopin's dulcet tones or the baby sleeping... We also seem to share some of the same callers - the mediocrity recognizers from the lumpen proles. Darn customers - if it wasn't for them I could get a quieter life! How do you get people to visit a website? - I wish I knew!

I remember hearing something about backlinks... Is that anything to do with breakfast sausages?

What, no rural backlinks at all. Oh No! I s'pose then that the urban backlinks are better than the suburban ones....
