JohnLearner -> I bet there's no answer to this... (11/12/2007 10:08:27)

I'm just learning CSS & Dreamweaver. My mouse cursor is configured to move rapidly, accelerated, and I'm very used to that. However, when I'm using Dreamweaver, it doesn't. It's painfully slow.

Why does it happen, and is there any way round this?

Thanks,

John.

Thats a new one on me. Have you tried the Adobe forums? Thats where I would start.

I've noticed issues with my mouse when memory gets low, or computer begins to be unresponsive.

Have you tried restarting and then opening up DW only to see if the issue exists?

Cool. OK. Good idea. :)

Hi, Bobby,

I haven't actually tried that, but it's not to do with low memory - I work quite normally in other areas, then (only in Dreamweaver) it happens. And when I say "painfully slow", it is. Yuk!

Let's see what the Adobe folks say...

Thanks,

John.

I've solved it myself. In the Mouse Properties (Control Panel) Motion tab, I unchecked "Disable acceleration in games". Cool!

I've disproved my own signature! LOL
