Netscape will not show the BG colour in an empty cell. Capitao is correct - inserting an image will solve the problem but a transparent gif is more useful than one the same colour as they cell - it means that the same gif can be reused again and again regardless of the bg colour of the cell in which it has placed.
In case you are looking for a transparent gif I have added a 5x5 pixel one to this post. You cannot see it - because it is transparent
- put you are welcome to save it and use it. Resize it in Pic properties as you wish for any occasion.
Here it is ------>
