Nestscape color problems - 4/2/2001 15:09:00
Both of my sites have bars at the top of the page that will only show up grey in a netscape browser. On the www.dmrqa.com site the bar is supposed to be red. On the www.apgqa.com the bars are supposed to be green. Any suggestions?

Thanks

one cheat is to have a gif that is one pixel high by however many pixels wide in the colour you want! Netscape does the same uncolour thing to my tables ... grrrrrrr!

Netscape will not show the BG colour in an empty cell.

Capitao is correct - inserting an image will solve the problem but a transparent gif is more useful than one the same colour as they cell - it means that the same gif can be reused again and again regardless of the bg colour of the cell in which it has placed.

In case you are looking for a transparent gif I have added a 5x5 pixel one to this post. You cannot see it - because it is transparent - put you are welcome to save it and use it. Resize it in Pic properties as you wish for any occasion.

Here it is ------>
