Special Sorting of Columns - 11/23/2007 9:04:04
I got a mixed bag of results searching the archieves, so let me ask the question! I have to pull some data from a table. This table has 2 columns, columnA and columnB The values are as follows ColumnA ColumnB 1.............. 2 3.............. 4 5.............. 6 7.............. 8 9.............. 10 Can I do a sort that produces a result that goes like this 1 2 3 4 5 6 .... Ordinarily these values would be in different tables and an Inner Join would /sort would give me the answer, but a previous design flaw has caused this issue I am using Access 2007 Thanks Helen Snow

Yes, use UNION as suggested by Spooky. Select ColumnA from Table UNION Select CoumnB from Table ORDER BY 1 ASC
