The thread owner deleted it due, I expect, to the unhelpful replies he got.

I thought some of the replies were helpful.

It may have degenerated into sightly ribald humour but then when a question as open as that is asked one assumes that it is almost asked tounge in cheek.

A fine example of what to do with a blank space! Put a message on it to say it's been deleted and then leave everyone wondering what it was that was deleted! :)

Only Womble would hi-jack a thread about another thread that was hi-jacked.

i think he was asking for it :)

i mean it's an Intranet site that we know nothing about (that you might think he would know - or if he didn't then at least he would know who to ask in his own organisation) and the question was so open as to be useless, almost rhetorical. we merely stepped in and offered suggestions as to what he could insert in his ________ :) (er, that's blank, btw)
