FNC -> Toshiba Laptop Wireless Issues (11/29/2007 16:51:03)

I have a Toshiba M110 Laptop and a Netgear WGR614v6 router. When I first bought the Laptop and set up the wireless network, everything worked fine. After a few weeks, I turned on the laptop and it said that it could not connect to the wireless network. I tried everything I could to re-connect it, such as using the wireless network setup wizard, deleting and then setting up the connection again and using the connectivity doctor (useless) - but to no avail. I eventually resorted to a system restore and everything was good again... Or so I thought. This same problem came up time and time again - not connecting to the wireless network all of a sudden. So after a dozen cycles of system restoring, I thought this would have to be my solution. Only a few days ago, I had this problem again. This time, no matter where I restored to, it wouldn't work. In frustration, I decided to use the recovery disc to bring it back to it's original state. This didn't work... It still won't connect to the wireless network. So, my questions are: 1. Why does this happen? 2. How can I fix it and make sure it won't happen again? Thank you in advance for anything you can provide.
