current paypal cart

Whoa, hang on. So are you saying you have two completely separate carts?

Your current site cart allows for purchases using Paypal buttons and you're trying to automatically import those products into cartmanager?

If so then the answer is no on pretty much any cart I can think of.

The only way you might be able to do it is go onto cartmanager's forums and see if there are any developers there you could employ to write an import routine for you.

Yes, that's what I had hoped to be able to do! Since there doesn't seem to be any seamless integration for the two and all my products have PayPal cart buttons, I will have to add them manually. I asked CM T.S. if there's any way around this and am awaiting their reply which will be just what you said!

I haven't been able to locate cartmanager's forums unless they are located elsewhere on the web. I've been searching the FAQ's and reading what I find but it doesn't seem to cover this.

How would I go about finding a developer if there's no forum on cartmanager's site? And thank you for hanging in there!!!!

I just got my answer to "My site cart uses Paypal. Can I automatically import my products into cartmanager?"

"You will need to create them using the 'Add to Cart' code."

Which is what we knew already. I surrender.

Looks like there's no such beast. This is one advantage of using Open Source as there's usually a developer around willing to create an add-in of some sort. In this case you'd have to get the Cartmanager developers to do it for you and it sounds like they aren't willing to do that.

You can say that again! I did evaluate a couple of OS carts with the help of someone who knows much more than me, but he found other faults that would make this project more complicated for me.

I appreciate your input!
