lsfphelpls -> When I EXPORT an xls file to csv or other delimiter file , by how many ways I can do it ? (12/1/2007 16:05:08)

EXCEL: When I EXPORT an xls file to csv or other delimiter file , by how many ways I can do it ? how i configure EXCEL to export as
FIELDS SEPARATED BY ',' -or- FIELDS SEPARATED BY ';'
FIELDS ENCLOSED BY '"' -or- FIELDS ENCLOSED BY '''
LINES TERMINATED BY '\n'
When I save as xxx.csv I have any choice over:
FIELDS SEPARATED BY ',' -or- FIELDS SEPARATED BY ';'
FIELDS ENCLOSED BY '"' -or- FIELDS ENCLOSED BY '''
LINES TERMINATED BY '\n'

You have now posted this question several times and not just on here but all over the web. I have answered you and referred you to several sites. You either aren't reading them or are not understanding them.

This is a phpMyAdmin issue, not an Excel issue. Excel produces what it produces and that's it. If you had done a google search as I suggested in another reply you would have found a number of answers. Here is yet another and it's my final word on the subject.

Have you visited and read the link I gave you above? It tells you what to do when you are asked for Enclosures.

You shouldn't need the ' at the start and end.

If you do then you have to type it into the field yourself and that probably means formatting the fields to text. It can also be done by writing a Macro but don't even ask about that one. If you want to learn about Macros then book on a training course.
