FP Ext problem - 12/6/2007 8:06:05

Hi guys

Ive read the forum and visited several MS knowledgebase sheets but cannot sort this FP Ext problem.

The form is located at http://www.somersetleisure.com/prizedraw.html

As soon as you complete the form (I know one tab sequence is out) and submit I get the Cannot run the FrontPage Server Extensions on this page: "http://www.somersetleisure.com/prizedraw.html"

Ive checked the Ext on the server, and have deleted and re-installed but still no good.

Here are the folders and files on the server - is everything there that should be?

FOLDERS:-

_derived

_private

_vti_cnf

_vti_log

_vti_pvt

_vti_script

_vti_txt

FILES (other than all my html files):-

_vti_inf.html
postinfo.html

I can detail the contents of any of the above if needed.

Thanks for any help guys !!!

Paul

PS

Not Frontpage related I know, but I got frustrated with FP so tried .php scripts instead and get error message from my test page at http://www.somersetleisure.com/form2mail.html:-

Error sending e-mail!PHP Notice: Undefined index: HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR in D:\Domains\somersetleisure.com\wwwroot\form2mail.php on line 43 PHP Notice: Undefined variable: mailMessage in D:\Domains\somersetleisure.com\wwwroot\form2mail.php on line 132 PHP Warning: mail() [function.mail]: SMTP server response: 501 5.5.4 Invalid Address in D:\Domains\somersetleisure.com\wwwroot\form2mail.php on line 135

If anyone knows the answer to that one instead of FP then I would be glad to know it. :)

I suspect its your SMTP not set up properly.

To confirm it is the case, remove the send to email bit from your form and have the form send the results to prizedraw.txt only. If it works, then it is your SMTP problem.
