Setting security on an MS ACCESS db - 12/6/2007 10:40:33
I know there is a security wizard for access.

Does anyone know how to set security on an access db that will posted on the web and then the script to allow users to read write?

Or is there another way to secure an access db on the web?

I am just starting down this path and don't even know the correct questions to ask.

Thanks in advance

Dave

The first and main task is to place the database in a secure directory where it cant be viewed or downloaded by the public.
Generally this is in a folder under the root although it can be placed in the web folders if necessary. You just shouldnt be able to browse to it.
