It's official and it comes from Microsoft.

My office PC has been downgraded - I'm sorry - Upgraded to Office 2007. I'm so happy. It has the perfect email client. I just launch Outlook and whatever I press the message that I'm presented with is displayed (as shown). This is not a fake but the only thing that my Outlook displays.

I cant write emails,; I can't receive emails; I can't send emails; but Outlook looks as if I'm busy! No more appointments!

I don't know much about MSO-07... but depending on your version it may not come with Outlook... the home/student version specifically.

If this is an office PC it may be that your IT department hasn't set up the server yet, or properly...

I think it's "Professional Plus" or somesuch.

Everyone else's works. Do you know my IT department? It sounds as if you do. [:D]

Are you using Vista? There is no Outlook or Outlook Express with Vista either. But there is a mail program called Windows Mail. Check to see if it is there.

I really don't want this problem solved - I'm even thinking of installing a skinned version of Linux that looks like Windows to keep IT guessing. Mind you, that's their normal modus operandi (or malodorous operandi).

I finished for Christmas today and plugged my keyboard into the computer of the person opposite and their's into mine. In the New Year I'll switch monitor leads. The computers are back-to-back.

You should try it on colleague's machines - its brilliant!
