is this possible with ASP - 12/7/2007 15:26:20
Hi ya'll

I have a project where my client wants to be able to sign up people for events with limited seating (50 people).
Is it possible to create a sign up form within FP 2003 (using .asp pages and drop downs for different events??) that lets the visitor know during signup once the event is booked out, ie. shows some sort of "booked out" after fifty people signed up for it?

Any help or links to sites that contain helpful information is greatly appreciated.
Thanks

That is defintely possible and being done all the time.

Have you checked anyplace like hotscripts.com or places like that?

However, if all you're doing is checking to see that the event is max'ed out or not, how about a COUNT query and just don't display the form once the max has been reached?

Obviously, there's a lot more to it but that would be the approach I'd take.

Hope it helps.
