User-name required for form if www. is not present. Help! - 12/10/2007 17:22:12
Why is user-name required for form if www. is not present? I have a website that is NOT password protected, and does NOT have any sub webs. But when users visit the site without “www.” they are asked for username and password if they try to fill out and submit a form. Many users just write the site-name in the browser [e.g. “site_xyz.com”] and the browser will change it to http://www.site_xyz.com and the form will work just fine. But some browser does not make the change and will not insert the “www. “. This is when they are asked for a user-name and password. What can I do??? I want everyone to be able to submit a form.
