FrontPage and IPCop - 12/11/2007 9:23:37
I have a wierd problem with FronPage. I am running Vista now :) but this same problem happened on my XP machine here in my office. I am trying to connect to a server running IIS with Frontpage extensions and I cannot when I use http:// half the time if I use https:// it will work but give me a SSL Cert error. I click ok and then I can log in to the website I need to edit. Well the other 50% of the time I get and error that says: "an unknown WinINet error has occurred (code 12057)." Wel this has to do with the SSL Cert I think. But if I take my computer home and use my personal DSL connection I can open the web with http:// fine. What gives? Is it the ipcop firewall here in the office? Do I need to poke a hole though with a certian port number? The other wierd thing is the site I am trying to log into is not the only site I update. I have other FrontPage sites that I cannot access here at the office even with https:// but I can at home with http://. Any insight to this would be great. I am getting to the end of my rope... Thanks!
